Declare London independent from the United Kingdom, and apply to join the EU

What the petition asks

In the aftermath of the EU Referendum, it is clear that the values of London and the rest of the United Kingdom are fundamentally incompatible.

We request that London secede from the United Kingdom with immediate effect, and apply for membership of the EU simultaneously.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

If the UK votes leave and London votes IN,
London should become Independent.
