What the petition asks
In order to allow the general populace to make informed decisions in democratic political campaigns, all political campaign communications such as posters, leaflets, other advertising, should be subject to independent peer review and fact checking prior to publication to prevent misinformation
Also, any advertising released that is independently deemed to be incorrect should be retracted with the same visibility as the original advertising.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
