Petition · past parliament

David Cameron to un-resign and guide the UK through Brexit.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

The country does not need a Conservative power struggle and leadership debate. It needs continuity, stability and direction.
The country does not need a Conservative power struggle and leadership debate. David Cameron was given a mandate to serve a 5 year term and offer the UK an EU referendum. He has a duty to abide by the will of the people and guide us through a Brexit. The vote to leave was not a vote to replace David Cameron.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The UK Government or Parliament cannot stop a Minister resigning.
