What the petition asks

The Brexit deal between the UK and EU will govern our lives for decades. But it will not have been subject to a referendum, or discussed in a general election. Unless it is approved by another referendum, against the status quo of staying in the EU, it will have no legitimacy.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Hold a second referendum on leaving the EU once exit terms have been negotiated.
