What the petition asks
The outcome of the referendum was not decisive. Less than half the electorate voted to leave. The campaign became dominated by immigration. The majority of young people wish to remain in the EU. The majority of our elected representatives wish to remain. There is no "mandate" to leave the EU.
Only 52% of people voted to leave out of a 72% turnout. Therefore only 37% of people actually support leaving the European Union.
