Reform our parliament so it becomes more democratic.

What the petition asks
Having marginally voted to leave the EU, now is a good time to decide what future we want. To do this, there has to be trust in our government. This reform should consult the public. Reviewing alternative systems such as direct democracy voting as they do in Switzerland and PR in Finland.
There are many different forms of democracym The British government has clearly ignored the will of the population for a long time. Through constitutional reform we can better reflect the needs of people, which can hopefully bring our country together as people celebrate their differences, yet also encourage debate in parliament over contentious issues.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
