Make religious slaughter unexempt from the law requiring pre-stunning of animals
Rejected

What the petition asks
The majority of uk slaughter houses for halal and kosher meat do pre-stun the animals but it is not a legal requirement. We feel it should be. No animals should suffer at our hands. No race or religion should be exempt to the legal requirement. It would also help placate xenophobia.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
