Deliberately misleading the electorate during a campaign should be made illegal.

What the petition asks
During the referendum campaign, many lies were told e.g. we would spend £350million a week on the NHS if we voted leave. The day of Leave winning, we were told this was a lie. Politicians should be held accountable for deliberately misleading the electorate in order to win elections/referendums.
