Petition · past parliament

The EU vote gave no mandate to break up the UK. We should now remain in the EU.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The EU referendum question referred to the United Kingdom and gives no mandate for the UK to leave the EU if this might result in the break up of the UK. The risk that a second referendum on Scottish independence might now take place means the UK government should not now seek to leave the EU
