Hold a General Election so that our government has mandate to negotiate our exit

What the petition asks

Following the EU Referendum result, and resignation of PM, I believe we should have a General Election before a new PM is apppointed so that the new government, whoever that turns out to be, has a mandate to negotiate our exit from EU
