What the petition asks
David Cameron should continue as Prime Minister until 2020. The British people voted for UK Independence and not for his resignation.
People still trust him to lead UK to a great future. He's done a great job running the country, keeping parliament in line and doing the job they're supposed to.

Do we really want Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Michael Gove to lead a Brexit government? They manipulated the facts, deliberately told lies and mislead statistics about costs of Europe, about Turkey, about immigration and about NHS. In summary they untrustworthy, destructive and socially divisive to take the lead.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The UK Government or Parliament cannot stop a Minister resigning.
