What the petition asks
There seem to be a lot of people that voted because of false information given or as a protest vote. Give them the right to change their vote if they have changed their minds.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
If you would like there to be a second referendum, you could sign this petition:
Call for a second EU referendum as the first did not have a clear mandate.
