What the petition asks
As a supporter of leave I object to the prospect that the decision taken on the 23/06/2016 should be overturned on the grounds that people either could not be bothered to turn out and vote or misunderstood what was a very simple question on the ballot paper.
I voted in the Scottish Independence referendum, then the ' NO ' decision was accepted by the supporters of the ' Yes ' campaign and on the basis of that decision, so the decision made by the UK people be made to abide by the majority decision. At the end of the day democracy is supposed to be majority rule.
