Dismiss the petition for a second EU referendum to be held.

What the petition asks
We the undersigned ask you, our duly elected Government, to uphold the will of the majority of voters in the EU referendum, 23 June 2016. Voting rules should not be applied retrospectively and the result of the original referendum should not be dismissed in an attempt to achieve a different result.
If a second referendum is called then the democratic system we pride ourselves on and the right to freedom of expression that underpins the United Kingdom will be fundamentally undermined.
