Petition · past parliament

Re-affirm principle of representative democracy and not be bound by Referenda.

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

The EU referendum was won with a modest majority. Many voters were confused and not fully aware of the issues involved. We live in a democratic system where our Parliament is supreme. If Parliament wishes to "take back control" from the EU that is a matter for Parliament, not the mob.
