What the petition asks
The people of the UK have had ample opportunity to consider the arguments of membership of the EU and then to cast their vote in the first referendum on 23 June 2016. It is unnecessary, expensive, undemocratic and divisive to hold a second referendum on membership of the EU.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
