Petition · past parliament

Require the government to serve an article 50 notice on the EU immediately.

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

During the referendum campaign the Prime Minister stated that he would serve notice on the European Union as soon as possible after a vote to leave the EU. Following the Leave vote he has not honoured this promise, instead delaying it until a new PM is appointed. This ignores the will of the people.
