What the petition asks
Reducing a complicated issue such as membership to the EU down to a simple in or out question is misleading. We are a parliamentary democracy, not a direct democracy. We vote in governments to act on our behalf. There should be a parliamentary vote on EU membership.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
