What the petition asks
We're petitioning The Parliament to ignore the EU referendum result. In the words of David Lammy MP: "The referendum was was an advisory, non-binding referendum. Our sovereign Parliament needs to now vote on whether we should exit the EU."
Many people are now waking up to the reality of having voted to leave, based on lies propagated by the Brexit campaigners. Those people can't change their votes now, but the Parliament can make a decision to ignore the result - which would save the UK from an uncertain future on the outskirts of the EU.
