Petition · past parliament

Urge Parliament to vote against EU exit as the referendum isn't legally binding.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

"The referendum was was an advisory, non-binding referendum. The Leave campaign's platform has already unravelled and some people wish they hadn't voted to Leave. Parliament can choose whether or not we leave. Urge them to think about the consequences of their choice NOW before its too late.
The shockwaves of a brexit vote have shown that the referendum leave campaign was based on lies and many people have admitted they would change their mind given the chance. Would 2 million people change their minds based on the aftermath? I think so. Let's urge Parliament to consider the best interests of Britain, Europe and the rest of the world.
