Halt plans to action Art. 50 and parliament themselves revote on leaving the EU.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Since the EU referendum there has been a clear outcry for parliament to appropriately address the current predicament we now face. Parliament, being privy to key information and experts, are best positioned and were elected to make legislative decisions in the best interests of the UK.
We ask parliament to immediately halt plans to action Article 50, and vote on whether its in the best interests of the UK to leave the EU; the majority of that vote deciding whether Article 50 is actioned.

NB. the wording of other petitions fails to enable government to rectify past decisions. We therefore request our duly elected parliament GOVERN the UK, and address the gravity and complexity of the current situation, which heavily impacts many generations to come.
