The electorate are entitled to be presented with the facts in an election!

What the petition asks

The recent referendum was based by both sides on a campaign of fear, speculation, false promises, threats and lies. Voters from both sides were left unsure of the facts and consequences, and hence used the referendum, the most important vote of our generation, as a protest vote.
Elections should be ran on the basis of fact, truth and honesty. The people should never again be subjected to a campaign of fear, myth lies and hatred, wrapped in a parcel of 'we don't know' to justify it. The referendum and the 2015 elections were conducted disgustingly and those responsible should he held accountable. The people deserve better than fear, threats and false promises. If an election promise is made there should be a 'wednesbury, reasonableness test applied to it.
