Petition · past parliament

MPs to vote in parliament whether to stay in or leave the EU.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

The EU referendum is not legally binding. The results are very close and divide the nation. The only sovereign body that can make the decision to stay in or leave the EU is the UK parliament. MPs are elected to represent the people and will vote in the best interests of the nation.
