Call a General Election before enacting Article 50 of the Lisbon treaty

What the petition asks
This Government, elected on a mandate to deliver an In-Out vote, are only morally empowered to the extent of their manifesto. There is no plan for what shape EU exit will take. We must be given a choice of manifesto to provide our negotiating team with a clear mandate & to make them accountable
Opinion is so divided across the country and we are without a clear manifesto of logical and coherent plans for a desired settlement. This will be a life changing settlement that we will all have to live with in some form for the the rest of our lives. We, the people, (remain and leave voters together) have had no say in what exit will look like. We must be given a choice of manifestos so that one can be democratically chosen.
