What the petition asks
In the recent referendum 37% of the UK electorate voted to leave the EU, causing turmoil and hardship for 65 million people living in the UK. For such a huge constitutional change, a clear majority should have been demanded by parliament. Parliament has failed in it's duty to protect UK citizens
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
