Anti-discrimination/Grandfather IDL/Citizenship to EEA citizens
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
The government should a) make it clear that discrimation or racist behavoiur will not be tolerated towards EEA citizens and b) grandfather the path towards indefinite leave to remain/citizenship for any EEA Citizen who are in the UK prior to article 50 being invoked.
The recent referendum had a strong anti-imigration element to it and as such, additional assurances should be given to the EEA citizens currently living in the UK that they are a welcome and valuable part of UK society as well as providing assurances that they can continue their life here and have a clear path to remain should they so desire.
