What the petition asks
In June 2016 the UK voted to leave the UK. There are many reasons why people voted leave (control immigration, restore primacy of UK legal system, reduce cost). It is unclear what the UK public wanted from a leave vote. A referendum will ensure the populace agrees with the negotiated exit strategy.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
