Sign a free trade agreement with South Korea
Rejected
20 signatures
What the petition asks
South Korea has many free trade agreements and the South Korean industry is booming. Out of the EU we can sign free trade agreements with whom ever we like in our interest rather than 28 nation states.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The UK Government and Parliament could not unilaterally agree a trade deal with South Korea. You could start a new petition calling on the Government to start negotiations with South Korea for a free trade agreement.
