Keep David Cameron as our prime minister!!

What the petition asks
We voted for David Cameron to be our Prime Minister in 2015 and direct our country for 5 years. As a result of the Eu referendum he was forced to resign by the media, I feel he needs to realise that despite the result we still want him to lead us.
Everyone I have spoken to whether they voted in or out of the Eu referendum has said they didn't want to lose David Cameron as prime minister. We all feel he needs to know this and he was voted to serve 5 years not 1 year. I feel we need this petition to show him how passionate we are about him remaining as our leader and that we want and need to him to take us forward despite the result not being the one he would choose.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The UK Government or Parliament cannot stop a Minister resigning.
