Bring back full packs of 20 cigarettes for the same price they used to be

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

Couple years ago all cigarette were full packs of 20 now only the expensive brands such as benson and hedges and Marlboro are full 20 packs
Fed up of going to a shop asking for 20 when there's not even 20 in the pack

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The price of cigarettes is the responsibility of retailers, not the Government or Parliament. Companies which make cigarettes decide how many cigarettes to put in a pack.

If you would like the amount of tax on cigarettes to be lowered, you could start a new petition asking for that.
