What the petition asks
Legal US States bring in billions to boost their economies,fund schools.Crime is down,teen use is down.Many medical problems can be treated/cured with cannabis.Great strides in cannabis research are being made.Trials by GW Pharma on cannabis based medicine show low toxicity/low dependency.
Colorado brought in nearly $73.5m in the first seven months of 2015.On pace to take in $125m, compared to just $44m last year.In 2014, 71.3 million visitors spent $18.6bn in Colorado. Cannabis is becoming increasingly socially acceptable, and the UK is decades behind the times, and the rest of the world.Revenue from legal cannabis sales could save the failing NHS, fund schools, ease homelessness, aid ex-servicemen, feed the hungry, and generally give the UK & Eire a much needed economic boost.
