What the petition asks

Leave voters appear to not understand how democracy works. An unambiguous statement confirming the result stands should be made as soon as possible so people can get on with their lives and allow the government to do its best on all our behalf to leave the EU with the best deal possible.

Social media is awash with people in the minority who are clamouring for a second referendum already. This is not healthy for the country as a whole and can be simply clarified with one statement confirming the result stands.
