Can you please just raise the speed limit to 80 as 70 is ancient.

What the petition asks
I want this petition to go forward as I can not see the point of a 70mph speed limit when on the motorway it feels dangerous as cars fly past well over that and I do not want to break the law to maintain a safe flow of traffic .there is no money for better policing and you cannot fine everybody
Other countries as Czech Republic Romania and Germany all have higher speed limits and this would lower intimidating driving
