What the petition asks
Acknowledging the evidence that 75% of young people (18-25) voted to remain in the EU referendum, we call on the government to include a youth representative in the negotiations on Britain's exit from the EU to speak for young people and their future in Europe.
The polls up to and following the referendum showed young people overwhelmingly in favour of Europe, one of the largest of these shows that 18-25 year olds clearly voted to remain: http://lordashcroftpolls.com/2016/06/how-the-united-kingdom-voted-and-why/
Recognising that this affects the future of our country and our long term economic stability, we ask that young people get a voice in shaping this future.
