Petition · past parliament

Vote not to invoke article 50 following the results of the EU referendum.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

A referendum result is an advisory tool for the government and should not take precedence over our democratic parliamentary process.

Leave Campaign promises have been reneged on and the true implications are only just becoming apparent.

Arguments made to leave the EU were misleading and in the wake of the slim majority vote to leave, the unity of the United Kingdom is in question.
