Use the constitutional right of parliament to vote to kill the referendum result

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

On 23rd June, 37% of the electorate voted to leave the EU, based on campaigns of fear and lies from both sides about the EU and our membership therein. The aftermath has shown the people could not and did not make an informed decision about their future, which questions the legitimacy of the result.
The Guardian, Independent, and also BBC coverage have shown the shock/regret of "Leave" voters at the consequences of their decision; the Washington Post reports a tripling Brits googling what the EU actually is. The crash of the Pound and The FT reporting the biggest FTSE250 single-session loss of 12% has already caused an additional £250million of national debt. The UK credit rating has already been downgraded by Moody's. "Leave" politicians are already backtracking on their campaign promises
