What the petition asks

We the undersigned wish to enact laws that make it a crime for any member of parliament to knowingly lie in the house of commons, or when talking on record to the British people. MP's have for too long spun lies and deceit to gain political leverage. We believe this is an abuse of democracy.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make it illegal for any MP to tell lies in Parliament, or to the Public.
