What the petition asks

In view of the Brexit vote, British citizens should be allowed to opt for European citizenship that allows them free movement and the right to reside and work within the EU, as well as whatever remains of the UK.
Many people feel that Brexit will entail a loss of their cultural identity as Europeans if they lose their European citizenship.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
