What the petition asks
In the recent EU referendum a clear majority based on a record turnout voted in favour of leaving the EU we now have MPs amongst others who are saying that we should ignore this referendum result this vote was fair and legal it must be respected
The EU referendum produced a record turnout for any UK election there was a clear majority in favour of leaving the EU some MPs are now calling on the referendum result to be ignored this is outrageous and undemocratic the vote must be respected and acted upon you cannot just keep asking for the same vote to be replayed and replayed until you get the answer that you want this is not about older people and younger people having different views it is about individuals votes being respected
