The post-EU Referendum period requires a UK Coalition Government like during WW2

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

The current crisis facing the UK, following the EU Referendum, has the potential to completely destabilise our country - the last time we faced such disruption to our way of life was during WW2. To bring cross-party talent and capability to negotiate our future, we need a coalition government.
Why?
- Resignation of Prime Minister and Tory leadership competiton.
- Coup against leader of the Opposition and likely leadership competition.
- Scotland is leaving the United Kingdom.
- General confusion about what happens next and no clear UK leader in place.
As a result, in order to secure the best possible outcome, we need to bring the parties together to negotiate our future with the rest of the world, especially the remaining members of the EU.
