Amend EU Referendum Rule for UK Citizens living outside of UK more than 15 years

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We the undersigned call upon the HM Government to implement a rule to allow british citizens living outside of the UK for longer than 15 years the right to vote in another referendum.
Unlike normal elections in the UK, the referendum has a big impact on british citizens living in the EU. It has a big impact on their residential status. It also has consequences for british citizens everywhere in the world wanting to move back to the UK. Every british citizen of voting age should be able to vote in an EU Referendum.
