What the petition asks

We, the undersigned, call upon the UK Government to enact legislation which will, in the event that article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty is triggered, automatically grant citizenship, or indefinite leave to remain, to all citizens of other EU countries currently resident in the UK.

Why it was rejected
