Government to provide realistic budget and strategy before invoking article 50

What the petition asks
The leave campaign sold the idea of Brexit based on certain promises regarding immigration and finance. In a time of great uncertainly, they need demonstrate how they plan to make good on such promises before they take the final, irreversible step of invoking article 50.
Those who voted Leave did so on the basis of promises made by the Leave campaign. They now deserve to see them implemented.
Many who voted Remain believe the Leave campaign was built on lies and exaggeration. The government needs to prove this is not so.
The government should not take any irreversible steps until it can demonstrate to the public that the vote was won on facts and workable solutions. The government must be held accountable to the public.
