A new referendum on the EU because Leave clearly misinformed the electorate

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

We the undersigned want a new referendum on the UK's relationship with the EU. This is because it is now very clear that the Leave campaign misled the electorate on various items including: the NHS funding, the effects on the markets, border controls, the timescale Article 50 would be triggered etc
Many voters have now expressed they regret their choice of who they voted for, now that it has emerged that many of the claims made by the Leave campaign were false. We want a second referendum, based upon facts, so that the electorate can make an informed choice.
