Parliament should reject the EU referendum decision
Rejected
20 signatures
What the petition asks
Voters were unable to make an informed decision having been given untrue and misleading information during the referendum campaign. The biggest decision on the country's future should not be made in this way.
As to incorrect information see for example the Treasury select committee report of 27 May. Statements since the vote by Leave campaigners show voters were misled.
In any future referendum a parliamentary select committee should prepare a statement of independently verified facts for voters.
