What the petition asks

At this time of national crisis following the EU referendum the parliamentary summer recess should be cancelled. The country has many issues to resolve and the country should have a sitting parliament. Otherwise parliament is effectively closed from 21 July to 5 September.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

British Parliment should not have a summer recess this year.
