Petition · past parliament

MPs to justify invoking Article 50 in the light of poor economic predictions.

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

A majority decision to leave the EU has been obtained in the referendum on June 23 yet all predictions are that the country will face recession and economic hardship as a direct result. A responsible UK government therefore has no mandate to wreak economic havoc on the UK and its citizens.
