In the UKs best interest Make David Camerons resignation effective immediately.

What the petition asks
With David Camerons support of the remain campaign, the British people cannot be confident that he will work in the best interests of the UK during the leaving period. It should be a clean break. There is a very obvious issue of a conflict of interest.
This is a fairly straight forward and obvious petition, so no futher information necessary.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The Government and Parliament cannot set a date for the Prime Minister's resignation to take effect.
