What the petition asks
This is a vote of no confidence in the current British Government in light of the EU Refurendum and is a call by the people to form a completely new government. With our prime minister stepping down and calling for new leadership we feel that this should be decided by all the people not by the few.
There is a significant proportion of people who are upset with the outcome of the referendum and over 2 million are petitioning for another.
There is a strong majority that feel that their opinions, ideologies and voices are not heard due to our current first past post political popularity contest.
With a 72% vote on the referendum, people are more politically minded than ever and we should utilise this opportunity to elect a government of the people proportionally elected by the people.
