Invoke The Treaty of Windsor to protect Portuguese in the UK and vice versa

What the petition asks
In the spirit of mutual assistance contained within the “Anglo Portuguese Alliance” and with recent post Brexit extremist goading non UK citizens to leave I propose UK give special protection and rights to Portuguese within the UK and the same protection be afforded to UK citizens in Portugal.
The Treaty of Windsor has been invoked by the UK on a numbers of occasions to protect the UK including two world wars & the Falklands campaign
Treaty text of the extant alliance guaranteeing assistance refers: "the ally shall be bound to give aid and succour to the other, so far as he is able (without any deceit, fraud, or pretence) to the extent required by the danger to his ally’s realms, lands, domains, and subjects; and he shall be firmly bound by these present alliances to do this”
